Introduction into Hawaiian Bodywork & Massage
![]() 5 days seminar at Orizon Center for Life & Creation
by Susanne Schwing The master healers of old Hawaii knew that there were special ways to release the power of the body so that physical, emotional and mental healing would take place. Now you can learn the basics and healing skills in a 5-days course to benefit beginners and practitioners alike. "The development of the self comes before any other skill, for the skill exists in that 'silent magnitude' within the core of your performance in any and all expressions." © 1970 Kahu Abraham Kawai i, Kahuna You’ll have enough time to experience the beautiful landscape of Magic Crete. There will be also space to relax and regenerate in our place Akrimos close by the sea. Your body will be nourished with local and organic products and meals, freshly made with love in our kitchen. Course: You will learn the 7 principles of the Huna Philosophy and connect with nature elements through movement meditation. We will make streatching & breathing practices, Q-Gong exercises, and slowly move into the steps of the’ Flying’. You will experience the spiritual healing energy of the Hula dance and learn the light hence amazingly deep touch of the Kahi Loa healing system, and finally the graceful, deep phisycal oil-massage of Lomi Lomi Nui. Teacher: The course is taught by Susanne Schwing, who has been practicing ‘Light work’ and Hawaiian bodywork for 15 years. Her deepest issue is to share and expand the knowledge of healing and the skills, which help effectively to connect to our healing power inside. Experience a Traditional Biological Cretan Farm
Approximately 1.5km from Akrimios, set in a valley overlooking the snowy Lefka Ori Mountains is the Kokotsakis Family Farm. Generations have lived on this land raising sheep and making cheese, growing grapes and making wine, growing olives and making olive oil, growing and harvesting lemons, oranges and a variety of vegetables.
Petros Kokotsaki manages the farm and continues in the traditional ways. Coaxing the earth to produce the healthy, biological, organic food that the family and the patrons of Akrimios enjoy throughout the year.
Guided tours of the farm may be available upon request and demonstrations of the harvest and wine and cheese making may be part of the guest experience, depending on the time of year. More about our farm >>
